Mercedes-Benz EQS; Specs, features, models and price
The Mercedes-Benz EQS is a battery electric full-size luxury sedan produced by German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz Group. It was released in September 2021 in Germany and the fourth quarter of the year in the United States. As a battery-electric vehicle, it is part of the Mercedes-Benz EQ family
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan is a visual stunner, turning heads on every street. This is the very first in what promises to be a long line of Mercede-Benz EQ fully electric vehicles. An SUV version is coming later this year.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS is a healthy competitor to the Tesla Model S, Porsche Taycan, and Audi e-tron GT, offering more comfort, luxury, and room than those models but with a less sporting personality.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS was all new for 2022, so the updates and upgrades for this 2023 Mercedes-Benz are minimal. The biggest news is the addition of a lower-priced all-wheel-drive model, the EQS 450 4Matic. Mercedes has also upgraded the rear-seat experience. The top Pinnacle trim models now have a more comfortable seat, and the Executive Rear Seat Package Plus provides new lighting and an MBUX interior assistant that allows gesture control for many functions from the rear seat. Additionally, there are now EQ-specific lock and unlock tones as well as charging sounds.
