According to reports, super agent Jorge Mendes is in England representing his clients to discuss potential deals with Chelsea and Manchester United.

The two Premier League giants are likely to be busy in the final weeks of the transfer window, with Chelsea interested in Joao Felix.

Enzo Maresca wants to bring in a new forward, and now that the Blues’ deal for Samu Omorodion has fallen through, he’s got to consider alternatives.

Chelsea are considering a deal to re-sign Felix on a permanent basis. According to reports from Spain, they bid €35 million for the Portuguese international.

Felix spent the second part of the 2022/23 season on loan at Stamford Bridge. He made 20 Chelsea games and scored four goals.

Felix’s strongest position is as a false nine, although he can also play centre forward or left winger, giving the Blues protection in a variety of positions.

He is not part of Diego Simeone’s plans for Atletico Madrid. Chelsea and the Spanish club have been in continuous contact this summer about possible transfers for Omorodion and Conor Gallagher.

Gallagher’s move to Atletico is also in doubt, but Fabrizio Romano has stated that the conversations about Felix and Gallagher are separate.

Chelsea are considering a move for Felix, while Ugarte’s move to Manchester United is back on.
According to Romano, Mendes will meet with Chelsea in the coming days to explore a possible move for Felix.

However, Mendes is also in England on behalf of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte, who has been extensively linked with Manchester United this summer.

“Jorge Mendes, in England to discuss Joao Felix with Chelsea… and Manuel Ugarte with Man United,” Romano wrote to X.

“Ugarte accepted personal terms with United weeks ago, but PSG still sees him departing. United requests pricing reductions. or one more sale; else, they will choose the less expensive choice.

Ugarte’s move to Manchester United appeared to be completed only a few weeks ago, but PSG’s asking price of more over £50 million eventually led to the Red Devils dropping their interest.

They can’t match that fee unless they sell a player, and Dan Ashworth is actively attempting to move Scott McTominay, Casemiro, Victor Lindelof, and others.

McTominay was the subject of two rejected bids from Fulham and Everton; Brentford and European teams are also keeping an eye on his position.

PSG, on the other hand, are willing to authorize Ugarte’s departure, therefore Manchester United is hoping that there will be some opportunity for bargaining on his price tag.
