West Ham are pressing for the ‘best in the world’ player, with all parties eager to close the deal.

West Ham United have made six new additions this summer.

The Hammers got the ground running early in the transfer window, signing Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham, and Max Kilman.

West Ham subsequently doubled their tally by adding Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug, as well as Guido Rodriguez on free.

Even better, it appears that the Hammers are far from finished, with another signing possible.

Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has recently claimed that all parties are willing to complete this particular agreement.

The deal in question concerns Aaron Wan-Bissaka potentially leaving Manchester United for West Ham.

The Hammers’ negotiations with Wan-Bissaka have proven more difficult than those with Summerville and Fullkrug.

However, Sheth believes the agreement is still on track.

“West Ham are still looking to sign Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka,” he told Sky Sports News.

“A lot of the arrangements between the clubs have been agreed upon, but the contractual details and terms of his exit from United have yet to be finalised.

“There is a willingness from all parties to get a deal done.”

West Ham is constructing a fantastic team.

West Ham could undoubtedly use more right-backs, and Wan-Bissaka would be an excellent choice.

The 26-year-old is gifted, experienced, quick, and famously difficult to beat in one-on-one situations.

Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer once described Wan-Bissaka as “one of the best one-on-one defensive full-backs in the world.”

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur’s James Maddison called him “probably the best in the world bar none” when it came to one-on-one defense.

West Ham had a strong team entering the summer, and they’ve been busy adding to it so that new manager Julen Lopetegui can hopefully get off to a good start.

Wan-Bissaka would be the ideal finishing touch. He would make the Hammers even more difficult to deal with on the wing.
